The Dream Team

Rube, Akasha, and myself checked out the snow today and scoped some new areas for the good days! It was still - 23 but the sun made it a lot easier to deal with.

PACO

He's growing on me.... I'm not much of a "small dog" lover but he is amazing. We've been dogsitting for the past few weeks and it's gonna be hard to see him go.

It's hard to get productive when it's negative a million and the snow sucks...

This is me in -26 without windchill. I'm wearing a balaclava, another face mask, and a tuque. I had to continually turn on my sled and roop around to keep me warm with the sled's hand warmers. wow...
It was SO windy that so much snow got blown around, creating a lot of wind loaded aspects that then slid.  The snow was definitely not good.

Hurley

2 cables put up- 1 with John Scarth hanging from the center of it, the other holding a cable cam. It was pretty wild to watch it all go down. Halfway throught the day, Brian Hockenstein's cable camera goes nuts and slams into the bottom tree... lucky he had a foam roller at the end of the cable which saved him a couple thousand dollars.
Can you see Scarth hanging amongst the trees?

Sunny with Cloudy Periods

Rube can't just smile in a picture... he's gotta look like he's dying or something.

Super fun days with friends ... a few laps, a few shots... We went out with the Sandbox crew and had a great time.. Those guys know Rainbow Mountain like the back of their hand!

Today was the first good snow in forever!! ... but it obviously got really heavy by the afternoon.  We went out with the Godfather, Martin Gallant, and he guided us around to some amazing little stashes.

Sled day

Mikey, Annie, and Paul... hanging out, having lunch.
One of the few beautiful days out in Whistler, if only the snow was great too...
