An interview on

Helen Schettini- Backcountry Bound

May 12.. Last day out back!

The 8 Mile guys had a big weekend planned up at Brohm Ridge: snowboard, sled, drink, camp, and party! Ashley and I went along for the camping part. It was such a great way to end the season:)
So many people showed up!

Stadium seating.. watching the guys kill it!

... into the sunset...

Best view in town.

An attempt at getting Mikee's sled out of the backcountry. The chain case busted so the track would not turn.

It was a failed attempt, he had to wait for a better snow-pack.

A few weeks later and it's almost disappeared!

YES. Sledshred! Video

YES. nowboards dropped another banging edit this one featuring some heavy sleding as well as riding in the Whistler backcountry.
Snowmobiling in the backcountry isn't all faceshots and hot lunches as the edit shows. Busted sleds and getting stuck occur on a regular basis, but the terrain it gets the team too is more than worth it.
Check it out. Not sure if any team is stacked with so many backcountry heavies.
"The crew sleds, gets stuck, crashes, and shreds the Whistler backcountry."

BILLABONG Team Shoot in Alberta

I just got back from a Billabong Shoot based in Banff. We rode Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, and Fortress Cat Operation. I can't think of a more beautiful place in the world:)

Our massive entourage! At one point there were 23 people with us... and leading the pack was the amazing Andrew Hardingham, our guide for the trip.
Photographer and my roomie, Ashley Barker. Her thoughts on sunscreen are quantity over quality, obviously:)
Enich actually ordered beers to the top of the mountain while we were building a jump.. haha!
The last day we went heli-boarding at Fortress, one of the best days ever!
Last night, enjoying a few too many beers with Eero and Romain!
